About

Built for longevity.
Optimised for performance.

The Exynos 8890 is still capable hardware. EylemROM's goal is simple: take the latest One UI releases and make them run beautifully on the S7 and Note 7 family — no compromises, no cut-down features.

Performance
Kernel optimised

Custom HeroGrace kernel builds with CPU/GPU overclocking, undervolt/overvolt support, and F2FS data partition support.

Fidelity
True One UI ports

Real Samsung One UI — not AOSP with a skin on top. Galaxy AI, KernelSU Next support, and Aroma Installer for customisation.

Root
KernelSU Next

Every build ships with KernelSU Next V3.1.0 support and SELinux Enforcing, keeping security intact while allowing root access.

Supported Devices

Exynos 8890 — four variants, one platform.

All supported devices share the Samsung Exynos 8890 (Octa) SoC. Snapdragon variants are not supported.

Flash Guide

Step-by-step. No guesswork.

Flashing EylemROM uses Samsung's official Odin tool on Windows. The process takes under 10 minutes. Follow each step exactly — skipping steps causes failures.

Back up your data before proceeding. Flashing a custom ROM performs a full factory reset. All data on the device — photos, messages, apps — will be erased. Back up to a PC or cloud storage first.
Step 01

Download the files

  • EylemROM .zip from the XDA thread or Telegram channel
  • Odin 3.14.4 — Samsung's Windows flash tool
  • Samsung USB drivers for Windows
  • AJ TWRP recovery — links in the XDA thread
Step 02

Enable OEM Unlock

  • Settings → About Phone → tap Build Number 7× to unlock Developer Options
  • Settings → Developer Options → enable OEM Unlocking
  • Also enable USB Debugging in the same menu
  • Requires active SIM + internet on first boot of stock firmware
Step 03

Enter Download Mode

  • Power off the device completely
  • S7 / S7 Edge: Hold Vol Down + Home + Power simultaneously
  • Note 7 / Note FE: Hold Vol Down + Bixby, then plug USB-C
  • Press Vol Up to confirm — you'll see the Samsung warning screen
Step 04

Flash with Odin

  • Open Odin — the COM port box should turn blue when device is detected
  • Click AP → select the EylemROM .zip file
  • Options tab: ensure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked
  • Click Start — do not disconnect until Odin shows PASS!
Step 05

First boot

  • Device reboots automatically after a successful flash
  • First boot takes 3–8 minutes — Android is optimising apps
  • Do not force-restart if it seems slow — wait it out
  • Complete the setup wizard normally
Step 06

Troubleshooting

  • FAIL in Odin: try a different USB port or cable; disable antivirus
  • Device not detected: reinstall Samsung USB drivers, reboot PC
  • Bootloop: re-flash; confirm you used the correct device variant file
  • Still stuck: post in the Telegram discussion group with your Odin log
