Flash Guide

Step-by-step. No guesswork.

EylemROM is flashed via AnanJaser TWRP — not Odin. Follow each step in order. Skipping steps causes bootloops or mount errors.

⚠
Back up your data before proceeding. Flashing wipes all data — photos, messages, apps. Back up everything first. All files (SYSTEM.zip, Vendor+kernel+aroma.zip, repartitioner, cleaner) are linked in the XDA thread.
Step 01

Flash AnanJaser TWRP

  • Download AnanJaser TWRP from the XDA thread for your device
  • Boot into Download Mode: Vol Down + Home + Power (S7/S7E) or Vol Down + Bixby + USB-C (Note 7/FE)
  • Flash TWRP via Odin: AP slot → select TWRP .tar → Start
  • Once done, immediately boot into TWRP (Vol Up + Home + Power)
Step 02

Flash repartitioner & cleaner

  • In TWRP → Install → select the repartitioner zip → Swipe to Flash
  • Device will reboot back into TWRP automatically
  • Install again → select the cleaner zip → Swipe to Flash
Step 03

Fix any mount errors

  • Check if any partition shows "Unable to mount" in TWRP
  • If so: Wipe → Advanced Wipe → tap the affected partition
  • Tap Repair or Change Filesystem → Change Filesystem → select EXT4
  • Exception: for /data, change filesystem to F2FS instead
Step 04

Wipe partitions

  • Wipe → Advanced Wipe → select: Vendor (if it exists), Cache, Dalvik/ART Cache, Data
  • Swipe to wipe — this is a full clean install, no dirty flash
Step 05

Flash the ROM

  • Install → select (SYSTEM).zip → Swipe to Flash
  • Wait for it to complete fully before continuing
  • Install again → select (Vendor+kernel+aroma).zip → Swipe to Flash
  • The Aroma installer will open — follow the on-screen options to configure your ROM
Step 06

Reboot & troubleshooting

  • Reboot System — first boot takes 3–8 minutes, wait it out
  • Bootloop: go back to Step 04, re-wipe, and reflash both zips
  • Mount errors after wipe: repeat Step 03 for the affected partition
  • Still stuck: post in the Telegram discussion group
